These pictures were taken over the course of about 10 minutes -- Grinnell really is a very beautiful place (despite its lack of mountains -- we just have rolling hills)! We posted these to help entice any of you to come on out anytime and enjoy a moment or two with us and our beautiful new home.

Isaac's First Day of Preschool

Isaac finally gets to go to school like his big sister, Autumn. He was so excited about starting preschool and loves it everytime he goes. He's been able to ride his bike to school with his classmate and friend, Amelia.

Apple Orchard

I went to Iowa City last week to visit my good friend Kristin and her kiddos. It was a beautiful day, so we took the kids to the apple orchard. We didn't have to compete with crowds, and Isaac and Reagan had a good time picking and taking bites out of each apple they picked. Evan and Greyson were happy to sit in their strollers and eat an apple of their own.

Jacob Krumm Nature Preserve

We took the kids to the "Jacob Krumm Nature Preserve" the other day. It's basically a beautiful prairie with a mowed trail so we could walk through it. There were beautiful wild flowers and the kids loved to run ahead and explore before we caught up to them.

Kids and Frogs

Autumn and Isaac love going in the back yard in search of frogs. The other day, they both found a baby frog. Evan just enjoys playing in the creek and running us ragged all over the yard.
