Cute quote from Isaac

We were getting ready for bed last night and Isaac told me, "Mom, I love you sooo bad in my heart." I hope I never forget that, that was too cute!!!

"Happy Days Festival, " Downtown Grinnell

We went to the "Happy Days" Festival, here, downtown. We mostly enjoyed the Belgian Waffle feed, huge waffles with awesome syrups and whip cream, yummy!
Car show, Isaac is in the background, sitting on the curb, he didn't want to be in the picture.

Some city sights
The downtown area is lined with these planter boxes, very beautiful.

"Inside" Pictures

Front shot, missing half the house, I'm not the best photographer
Autumn's dark room, again, could be the photographer, but the window looks awesome, right?
Office
Living room, minus furniture
Dining room and sun room.....that's all for now

Evan, in all his glory!

Kenneth snapped these "remarkable" shots of Evan, thought I'd share. The top one makes me laugh everytime I look at it.

Big Tub

The kids would like to take a bath in this tub 3 times a day, but for now, we are limiting them to once a week, Saturdays, if they are good all week, we'll see how long that lasts.

Our "Secret Garden"

Part of our "Secret Garden" in the back yard
Picture of the back yard, from the deck, Kenneth has been weeding like crazy, I should have done some "before" pictures.
Here's the rock creek, minus the water, in our back yard.
Another view.

Autumn's First day of First Grade

Autumn and her Principal
Autumn at her desk

Hi all, I'm back to blogging again, I hope to be more consistent, but no promises! Autumn started back to school yesterday, new school, "Bailey Park Elementary." We were already to walk to school, then noticed it had been raining all morning long! We drove instead. Autumn's teacher is Mrs. Gallahger, and she has taught 1st grade for 5 years. We were able to walk to school today and Autumn was thankful that she didn't have to walk home, right away, like mom, Isaac and Evan. It's only .55 miles to her school, but it seemed to wear all the kiddos out. Isaac actually held Evan on his lap in the little stroller on our way back home.
